Care Staff

Our care staff come from many walks of life — housewives, older students and undergraduates, people returning to work after a break or perhaps those looking for a career change. What they have in common is a sense of vocation and a wish to be part of an enthusiastic team working in the local community.

The work of a care assistant

The work of a care assistant is often challenging but affords interest and variety and over time should become a personally rewarding and greatly satisfying job. We offer full training, excellent pay rates, a discretionary bonus scheme, an NVQ program and opportunities for career progression.

The skills and attributes required of care assistants

In addition, care assistants always need to match these skills with the virtues of patience, gentleness and compassion.

A Carer's perspective

“I have worked for Kemble Care for 7 years. A complete change for me as previously I worked in offices. No two days are the same and I find the work very rewarding and satisfying. You meet different people and it's a great feeling knowing that you are making a difference to their day and helping them live independent lives.” — Tina Bullock
